CREATIVE MULTIMEDIA FOR DIGITAL GRAPHIC DESIGN & ANIMATIONS

Service learning of ICT Community Services was held in order to contribute our knowledge as much as we could towards the community. Students from 4 different primary schools – SK Taman Mutiara Rini, SK Taman Mutiara Rini 2, SK Felda Ulu Tebrau, SK Taman Universiti 3 were chosen as participants in this programme, Creative Multimedia For Digital Graphic Design & Animations. After careful consideration and discussion with the community we agreed to conduct the program on the following dates 5^th, 9^th and 19^th April 2019. The objective of this programme was to familiarise the usage of multimedia software to the community in order to increase their productivity in creating more meaningful advertisement later and produce more creative assignments especially for students. The programme was well-planned in order to not exceed the budget given by CCSL. During the first two days which was held on 5^th and 9^th April 2019, the school students have learned the techniques of designing a graphic by using Canva software and creating their own video by using RenderForest software. Apart from that, the competition day was held on the last day which was on 19 April 2019 to evaluate the skills of creating graphic and video from the students based on their creativity. To achieve the objectives of the program, the community chose the theme stamp and philately which was held on 19^th April 2019. When the competition ended we have selected winners for the two types of category which are best graphic design and best animation presentation. The first school for graphic design winner is SK Felda Ulu Tebrau while the second place and third place are SK Taman Mutiara Rini and SK Taman Mutiara Rini 2 . Then the school that received the first place for animation presentation is SK Taman Mutiara Rini 2. They also received the third place as there were two groups presented from the school. The second place were won by SK Felda Ulu Tebrau.
